Preparing for your wax

• Let hair grow to about a quarter inch.
• Exfoliate gently a day or two before.
• Skip retinoids and exfoliating acids on the area for a few days beforehand.

Aftercare

• For 24 hours after, avoid hot tubs, tanning, heavy workouts and tight clothing.
• Start gentle exfoliation a few days later to help prevent ingrown hairs.
